Winter Date Ideas

Happy Couple in Winter
With the weather forecast predicting more winter whites to come, it’s time to heat things up with some of these date ideas. These are our fave four:

Slippery Slope
Forget the traditional dinner and movie date. Start off a new romance with a little adventure and book some skiing or snowboarding lesson at an indoor slope. Whether you’re a pro or a beginner, this type of activity will show off your adventurous and fun side. Who knows, you may turn into a fully fledged slope superstar. And if that doesn’t appeal to you, there’s always the apres to cheer you up.

Fire Feast
A good rule of thumb for first dates is, if it was fun back at school, it’s still going to be fun now. So, if you have the luxury of an open fireplace why not take advantage and rip open a bag of marshmallows and roast them on a stick? Team that up with a hot chocolate and you are onto a winner. (Well in my eyes anyway)

Go Scooby-Doo
Do it like the scooby gang and chase after ghosts. Sign up to a local ghost hunt. They are a great idea for first dates for a lot of reasons, you will both need to tap into your imagination, suspend disbelief and it is guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping. What better excuse to hold on tight to your date’s hand?

Musical Musings
A great way to spend a first date is to go and see a local band neither of you know. It is not only a great way to find out your tastes in music but it also provides a common experience you can talk about afterwards. Who knows, you may decide to book Glasto tickets next.
