Celebrities are testing the waters!

Online dating services have become the preferred way for many busy singles to find dates. It’s no wonder then that many celebrities have turned to online dating services to search for the same thing. Online dating services are seemingly the “in” way to find potential dates.

We have scoured various sources to show you various celebrities who have either admitted to using online dating sites or have supposedly signed up!

1. Halle Berry

Halle Berry has confessed to frequenting online dating websites and chat rooms. After splitting from her boyfriend of five years, she realised that there were plenty more fish in the sea and told an interviewer from Contact Music magazine in 2006 that she had; “ been to a couple of dating ones [sites] just to see what everybody is talking about. I chime in and say a little fun stuff.”

2. Stephanie Pratt

The Hills star, Stephanie Pratt is no stranger to online dating sites. Apparently, she has been on a live webcam for a particular dating site!

3. Chase Crawford

Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford recently told Now magazine that he finds it hard to date and would gladly use an online dating service. He claimed to have a “bunch of different accounts that no one even knows about.” He said he’s wary of dating anyone, particularly American women, as he’s not sure who he can trust. However,  he told Now that he’s open to dating a British girl.

4. Joan Rivers

Joan Rivers has admitted to posting ads on various online dating sites. In 2006 she posted, “I love smart men, funny men, elegant men. If I had to choose between Brad Pitt stripped to the waist or an old George Clooney in a dinner jacket, George would win hands down.” Her profile on the site said she was looking for coffee and conversation.

5. Matthew Perry

Former “Friends” star Matthew Perry has reportedly used an online dating site. According to Now magazine his profile was “cute and adorable” The site received so many hits that it crashed- oops!
