Going the Distance

Next Friday “Going the Distance” will be released in cinemas across the UK. It looks like an honest, fun and warming romcom and I must admit, I can’t wait to see it!

Here is what you can expect:

Chemistry between Erin (Drew Barrymore) and Garrett (Justin Long) makes for a full-fledged summer romance. Both don’t expect it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett stays behind for his job in New York City. However, they begin to realise that what was supposed to be just a fling becomes something meaningful and neither want to give it up.

Yep…you know what’s coming…Long-distance relationships! Yay or nay?

As a member of PlentyMoreFish, you have the opportunity to meet new people from across the UK and Ireland but would you only communicate with people if they lived nearby? Do you feel that the distance matters a lot or a little?

I would say I am pretty biased as I am in a long distance relationship myself and I really believe that there are as many pros as there are cons. For example: – Pro: You have something  to look forward to and you can plan something great for that weekend. – Con: You plan stuff rather than being as spontaneous as you would perhaps like to be.

So would you be prepared to go the distance?
